The Brave Little Dragon

Once upon a time, in a magical valley surrounded by tall mountains, there lived a little dragon named Spark. Unlike the other dragons who were big and fierce, Spark was small and gentle. His scales shimmered like emeralds in the sunlight, but he was only as big as a house cat.

Every day, Spark watched the bigger dragons soar high above the clouds, breathing magnificent flames that painted the sky orange and red. "I wish I could be brave like them," Spark would sigh, looking at his tiny wings and small puff of smoke that barely warmed a teacup.

One stormy evening, Spark heard a desperate cry from the forest. A young rabbit named Rosie was trapped in a cave, and the entrance had been blocked by fallen rocks from the storm. All the big dragons had flown away to escape the bad weather, but Spark was still there.

"I'm too small to help," Spark thought at first. But then he remembered what his grandmother once told him: "Bravery isn't about being the biggest or the strongest. It's about helping others, even when you're scared."

Spark took a deep breath and flew to the cave. His small size turned out to be perfect! He could squeeze through a tiny gap in the rocks that the bigger dragons never could have fit through. Inside, he found Rosie shivering with fear.

"Don't worry," Spark said gently, his scales glowing softly to light up the dark cave. "I'll get you out." He used his small but warm flame to keep Rosie comfortable while he carefully moved the smaller rocks from inside, creating a path to safety.

When they emerged from the cave, all the forest animals had gathered, cheering for the brave little dragon. From that day on, Spark realized that being brave wasn't about being big – it was about having a big heart and the courage to help others.

And every night, as Spark curled up in his cozy cave, he smiled knowing that he was exactly the right size to be a hero. The forest animals would often visit, and Rosie became his best friend, proving that the smallest acts of bravery can create the biggest friendships.

The end.
